However, this tale has a twist. For this land is know by one word, spontaneity. Or for those on the outside - craziness! All those who were influenced by this kingdom desired to follow their every move, to study their thoughts, to understand their spontaneity. And so, FOR THUS IT IS WRITTEN

The Big Move

We have been superbly blessed. Rob was able to get a job doing exactly what he wants to do. His title will be Deputy County Attorney. Sounds pretty impressive!

We have also been blessed with the adventure of living in Kanab were the job is. So Kanab get ready for the Van Dykes!

Kanab - a small little town close to border of Arizona surrounded by fun places to go and beautiful things to see. Population: approx 4000 Weather: usually 10 degrees cooler than St. George (thank goodness)

People: Unsure - excited to find out

Pluses: Close to Zions, Bryces, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, and many other fun destination. Great place to visit (and now you have someone to stay with!!)

Minuses: Far from Family - but we have cell phones, e-mail, and blogs

I am so glad we have cell phones, e-mail and blogs. How did we get by without them? and YES, we will come visit!

Hi Tammie! I check to see if you were linked to the Simmons blog cause I was thinking about you! Tried to bring you guys over a little treat before you left---but you weren't home. Bummed I didn't even really say goodbye. Hope you don't mind if I check up on your blog once in a while---and I hope you have a blast there in Kanab! :-)
