I love my life. I wouldn't want to change a thing but sometime I wish there was a reset button. A magic button that would return everything to there perfect state.
- I would push it for my dear kitchen that has for the last 4 weeks always had at least 1 usually 20 dirty dishes cluttered on top of it
- I would push it for cute little Spencer who is already 9 weeks old. I feel all I can do is hold on as he zoom through life.
- I would push it for Primary who just never seems to be able to stay fully staffed.
- I would push for the clock to slow down and give me the time to do all I want to do with my beautiful children and all I need to do as a housewife
- And I would push for my dedicated husband who because of back surgery can't do all the things he use to do to help me out.
But -and its a very big but- there is no such magic button and life never stops to let you catch up. But I've learned to hold on and enjoy the ride. And of course take some pictures along the way to make you laugh, remember, and maybe cry later.
Rob getting ready for surgery - and no he is not under any drugs in the picture (-:
Visiting Friends in Pocatello and arranging a marriage. Spencer and Elizabeth has a nice ring doesn't it (:
Visiting the Schwieder Family - Everyone loved meeting Spencer for the first time.
Playing with VanDyke's while Rob recovered for two weeks in Orem.
We had tons of fun!
I was so grateful to be there to have family support with Rob was unable to help at all. Thanks Grandma VanDyke and everyone else!
Everything looks fun and exciting except for Rob's surgery. I hope he is doing well.
ReplyDeleteI do hope Rob heals quickly and well. I'm also grateful his family was there to help you out. By the way, I don't want a reset button, I want a fast rewind to let me relive some times - like when you kids were still at home - just for a short while. (from mom)
